Run a RedLine turnout gear cleaning franchise.
The business

Run a RedLine turnout
gear cleaning franchise.

A RedLine territory is a Mobile Extraction Unit, a Mobile Repair Unit and the portal behind them, run by an owner who is in the station with the chief. Here is what that looks like, from the equipment to the first call.

What we bring

You run the territory.
We've got your back.

01

Training

Training on the cleaning process, the 25-point inspection, hydrostatic testing, repairs, the portal and the field app, and how we serve departments.

02

Help launching your market

The marketing team helps you get going: your territory page on this site, advertising, email and text outreach to nearby departments, and branded collateral.

03

Technology

The RedLine portal, the field app and the records behind every set of gear we've ever cleaned.

04

Sales support

Corporate contracts and partnerships, relationships with government agencies, and a team that has done this in 21 states.

How it works

From first call to first station.

Review the Franchise Disclosure Document

You receive our Franchise Disclosure Document, which lays out the investment, ongoing fees, territory terms and obligations item by item. Take it to your attorney and accountant. We will walk through it with you.

Define your territory
03

Define your territory

Territories are drawn around the fire departments you will serve. We look at the departments, stations and firefighters in your market and set the territory in your franchise agreement.

04

Train while your MEU is built

Your Mobile Extraction Unit is built to RedLine's specification. While it is in build you train with the corporate team on cleaning, inspection, reporting and selling the service.

Launch in your market
05

Launch in your market

The marketing team helps you get started: your page on this site, advertising and outreach to the departments around you, so your first calls are warm.

Your first station

Your first station

Then you do what we do. Roll up to a station, clean and inspect the department's gear in a day, and hand the chief a report in the portal.

Who we look for

People who share the mission.

RedLine was started by a career firefighter, Mike Matros, to fix how the fire service cleans its gear. Our operators are business owners who took that mission into their own market. Devin Becker, who opened the Colorado territory, was a career firefighter in Colorado and ran a first responder equipment company before he brought the Mobile Extraction Unit to the Rocky Mountains.

You don't need a fire service background. You need to be business-minded, willing to be in the station with the chief, and serious about the mission and the values that come with it.

  • Firefighters, active or retired, who want to own a business in the service they know
  • Owners in the first responder industry adding a service their customers already need
  • Business-oriented people who share our mission and values
  • Operators who want financial freedom through a proven model
People who share the mission.
Where we are today

24 territories. 21 states.
The rest of the map is open.

RedLine operators run Mobile Extraction Units from coast to coast, and our mobile service already works with departments in states with no local operator. We're always talking with people about open markets. If you don't see yours below, that's the opportunity. Territory pages are on the main site.
